Richard Hoskins is a TV cameraman and Director of Photography (DOP) with a passion for shooting LIVE news. In his repertoire is a portable SNG kit (see below) yes, you read correctly; sport, music video clips: commercials; production drama and lifestyle, he'll roll camera on it all.
Richard has shot for the big three in Sydney – 7, 9 and 10 Networks, corporate clients and non-profits. His forte is filming pictures and editing stories that move people to action. Richard spent just over six years learning camera, sound, live links, and editing with his camera-grading apprenticeship at Seven News Sydney.
Following that, moved to Seattle and Los Angeles and shot news, corporate and music videos. On his return to Sydney, Richard spent the last two and a half years at Nine News until launching his own business, RichPix, as a freelance cameraman/DOP.
